COVID-19: UDUS Donates Sanitizers To Sokoto Govt

In fulfillment of its corporate social responsibility, the Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto (UDUS) today, Tuesday, contributed hundreds of hand rub sanitizers to the State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, in his office.

The donation was presented to Gov. Tambuwal by the Vice Chancellor of UDUS, Prof. Lawal Bilbis.

After the presentation, the Chairman of the State Taskforce on COVID-19, Dr. Ali Inname, stated that in furtherance of its effort to tackle the disease, the State Government will procure 2,000 pieces of the sanitizers.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best. He explained that the judiciary, being one of the three arms of government, is receiving special attention with the provision of modern and comfortable office spaces.
