Hajiya Fatimah Umar Badami's Demise: PDP Govs Forum Condoles Adamawa Gov



The PDP Governors’ Forum expresses its condolences to the Governor, Government and people of Adamawa State on the sad news of the passage of Hajiya Fatimah Umar Badami, Mother of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State.


A press statement dated 29th April, 2020 and signed by  Hon. C.I.D Maduabum, LL.M, the Director-General of the forum, in part reads:

"We pray God to give his Excellency and his family, the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

"The Chairman, Rt Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR and your colleagues in the Forum are particularly saddened by the loss of such a young woman who has been a pillar of strength to His Excellency, her family, Adamawa State and the nation at large.

"May her soul rest in peace and may Allah grant her Al Jannah firdaus.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best. He explained that the judiciary, being one of the three arms of government, is receiving special attention with the provision of modern and comfortable office spaces. The meeting, held at the Plateau State Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos was attended by the principal organs of the party: l NWC, PDP-GF, BOT, NASS Forum, Former Governors Forum, Former Ministers' Forum and other leaders of the party.
