“Before coming here this evening, I was at one of our State Isolation Centres at Ibom Specialist Hospital, Uyo. This afternoon, some of our doctors and medical workers expressed concerns that it was extremely needful that more PPE be provided to limit their risks of exposure to the dreaded virus, as they work to help others. As soon as we informed them that we were expecting donation of PPE from CAKPIL later in the day, they became greatly relieved and excited. God bless the donors for this very timely intervention.”

The PPE donation event held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital, in strict compliance to personal and respiratory hygiene procedures. The manageable number of persons who attended the event also observed social distance guidelines.
