Bauchi Gov. Lauds his Chief of Staff on Youth Development



Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state has applauded his Chief of Staff, Dr. Ladan Salihu, over his outstanding contributions towards societal development. 

The governor dropped this hint when the family of Turakin Bauchi led by Engineer Zubairu Yakubu paid him a sallah homage at Ramat House, Bauchi.

Governor Bala Mohammed said the appointment of Dr. Ladan Salihu, being a member of the family as chief of staff, was in recognition of his landmark achievements in the field of journalism in Nigeria.

He also commended the chief of staff for the establishment of a private radio station in the state which he observed, has assisted in reducing the rate of unemployment.

"We are grateful to Almighty Allah for this moment and we thank you for this sallah homage. Your family has a long history and is a well recognized family in Bauchi especially for its contributions to nation building."

The governor used the opportunity to seek for their continued support to his administration in its desire to overcome the challenges facing critical sectors of the economy. 

The leader of the delegation, Engineer Zubairu Yakubu, said the visit is to appreciate the governor for the appointment of Dr. Ladan Salihu, a member of their family as his chief of staff. 

"We are here to say thank you to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Abdulkadir, for finding one of us worthy as your Chief of Staff. The office of the Chief of Staff is a very important position, but we are confident that Ladan Salihu will live up to expectations."

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort.
