Guyuk Cement Factory: Gov Fintiri Visits BUA Group Office in Abuja

While in Abuja, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was at the BUA corporate office where he held a brief business meeting with the chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu.

The BUA Group has plans for a three billion dollars cement factory in Guyuk and Lamurde Local Government Areas.

The governor is visiting to express the state government’s appreciation for the donation of Two Hundred Million Naira and ambulances to help in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri reiterated his government’s support to the actualization of the cement company project, assuring him that government will ensure protection of his investment in the state.

He asked him to count on the government whenever the need arises.

Governor Fintiri also used the opportunity to commiserate with Abdul Samad over the loss of his uncle.

The chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, said his company is eager to start work, describing the limestone deposit in the area as top range.

He assured that the company will not renege on its corporate social responsibility, explaining that the Chinese firm to undertake the project is already in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri had also in Abuja met with the National Security Adviser, Mr. Babagana Munguno, where security topped the agenda of the meeting.
