Fintiri Decries APC's Clueless Leadership, Says His Urban Renewal Programme Remained Unshakable

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has decried the way and manner the immediate past All Progressives Congress-led administration in Adamawa bastardized governance because of its clueless blueprint towards manning the affairs of the state.

He made this known when he received the District Head of Jimeta and Dan Isa Adamawa, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Baba Paris, who led sons and daughters of the area on a thank you visit in the Government House, Yola, Sunday.

He expressed worry that the APC-led administration who had failed the citizens woefully due to their lack of modus operandi in handling governance, without shame engaged in unnecessary jabber against his Urban Renewal Programme.

Governor Umaru Fintiri explained that his focused administration has engaged relevant stakeholders in bringing out measures that will beautify the city of Jimeta that will look like a model capital city of any developed state in the country.

He wondered how some unpatriotic politicians who deceived the people of Adamawa and emptied the coffers of government without any tangible result to showcase would criticize the ongoing flyover bridge and Grade Interchange in the city of Jimeta.

The governor explained that his promise to salvage Adamawa from underdevelopment is sacrosanct adding that his move to build infrastructure in Jimeta and other towns in the state will remain unshakable.

Governor Umaru Fintiri revealed that he will use all the available resources within government's disposal to transform the state adding that his administration came on board with well articulated plans and policies.

He charged people to wake up from slumber and challenge any government without focus, calling on youths to calm down as his administration has a good plan for engaging them into meaningful ventures.

He further said the doors of his administration are always open for meaningful criticisms from the citizens and called on Jimeta community to rally round government for more development in the area and Adamawa in general.

Earlier in his remark, the District Head of Jimeta, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Baba Paris, thanked the governor for the construction of flyover bridge and Grade Interchange in Jimeta and for appointing sons and daughters of the area under his administration.

Alhaji Baba Paris said Jimeta has never witnessed the unprecedented infrastructural developments in the annal of history of Adamawa as it is experiencing under the Fintiri-led administration in the state.

The Dan Isa Adamawa called on the governor to ban all illegal motor parks in the city of Jimeta and direct all commercial motorists to operate in the central park for safe loading of passengers.

He called on the thirty indigenes of Jimeta appointed into key government positions under the present administration to bring to bear their wealth of experience towards assisting Governor Fintiri for Adamawa to forge ahead.
