COVID-19: CACOVID lauds Ugwuanyi’s efforts

The Nigerian Private Sector-led Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) has commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for his laudable efforts at minimizing the impact of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic on the people of the state.

Speaking, Gov. Ugwuanyi, who acknowledged with delight another round of support from CACOVID, stated that his administration has consistently engaged in distribution of various forms of palliatives including food items to vulnerable people, groups and communities since the past six months to cushion the hardships occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic.

While maintaining that “the CACOVID food palliatives initiative certainly dovetails with our continuing support for our people”, the governor appreciated persons and organizations that have supported the state in the intervention, assuring that the food items from CACOVID will get to the targeted beneficiaries.
