Gov. Tambuwal Has Not Declared Any Ambition For 2023



Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has not declared his intention to contest for President as has been reported by some social media outfits.



For the avoidance of doubt, nothing can be further from the truth than this. Gov. Tambuwal has not declared his political intention in recent times, so the news about his running for the highest political office is a figment of the imagination of some overzealous social media activists.


For this reason, the governor dissociates himself from such fabricated misinformation and misleading reportage.


The governor posits that his focus now is on delivering good governance and the dividends of democracy to the people of Sokoto State.

Delta awards N78bn contract for flyovers in Warri, Effurun

Delta State Government has approved the award of contracts worth N78 billion to Julius Berger Nigeria Limited for the construction of three flyover bridges and road expansion in the Warri/Effurun megalopolis. This was part of decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday in Asaba.  Briefing journalists at the end of the Exco meeting, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr Fred Edafiogho, said approval of the contracts were aimed at solving the gridlock often experienced in the twin cities.
