PDP Governors Send 56 Hearty Cheers to Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu

 The PDP Governors' Forum under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has congratulated Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the Governor of Abia State and Vice Chairman of the Forum, on his 56th birthday anniversary.



A press statement dated October 18, 2020 and signed by Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum, the 

Director-General of the Forum conveyed the PDP Governors' warmest wishes to one of their own on this momentous occasion.


The statement said:


"As you celebrate your 56th birthday anniversary, the PDP Governors'  Forum under the Chairmanship of H.E. Rt Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR and your goodself as Vice-Chairman, celebrates with you and your family, the Government and entire people of Abia State on this momentous occasion.


It added: "We associate ourselves with your many achievements in office as Governor which typifies your life and service to humanity.


"We also join your family, the government and Abians in general, in giving gratitude to God Almighty for protecting and sustaining your life  in service to Abians, Nigerians and humanity in general. 


Continuing the Forum said "We express joy on the brotherly relations existing between you and your colleagues in the Forum and your stabilising role in the Forum,  the PDP family and Nigeria at large. We wish you more years of good health, strength and wisdom to continue to pilot the affairs and cater for the well-being of the good people of Abia State.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
