Governor Darius present Mini Tractors to Displaced People of Chonku and Asa.



Governor Darius Dickson ishaku has taking further steps to ensure that the displaced people of Chonku and Asa resettles with little or no problems to worry about. Doing this the Governor has provided some basic palliatives which will enable them go back to their farming businesses and normal lives.

The Deputy Governor who represented the Governor during the presentation of these items said the symbolic presentation was necessary since the items have since been moved to the Resettlement areas . He disclosed that the Governor has ordered the committees responsible for this to be devided into sub committees such as health, Education, Housing and security. 

Manu said it is now the responsibility of the committee on Agriculture to go ahead with the  distribution of this items to the people of Asa and Chunku. The Deputy Governor disclosed the items to be distributed as 6000 cassava stems 3000Kg beans, 1200 Bags of fertilizers and  4 unit of mini Tractors . 


He said the Governor has promised to provide more of the mini tractors if need be. He warned that this items must not be politicise and on no account should it  be giving to people from other places either than Chonku and ASA.

The meeting, held at the Plateau State Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos was attended by the principal organs of the party: l NWC, PDP-GF, BOT, NASS Forum, Former Governors Forum, Former Ministers' Forum and other leaders of the party.
