In Pursuit of Peace, Gov. Ikpeazu Convenes non-Partisan Stakeholders/Town Hall Meeting


It's no longer news that the Abia State Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D  has approved the convening of a special Stakeholders Town Hall Meeting to be held Monday, October 26,2020,at 2pm. The world is however, impressed with the fact that

 Ikpeazu  believes so much in Inclusive Governance and conversation as the most effective  way to resolve conflict.





It's in the light of the above the following people have been invited

 to attend the Special Meeting.

the venue of the meeting is Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia, Abia State.

And all are to be seated before the arrival  of the Governor.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
