Remains of Late Zamfara State PDP Chairman, Alh Ibrahim Mallaha Laid to Rest in Gusau


The Remains of Zamfara state PDP chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha was today  laid to rest in Gusau, the state capital.


The funeral prayer of the deceased which  was led by the chief Imam of Gusau Central Jumuat mosque Liman Muhammad Dan Alhaji Sambo anwas attended by hundreds of people from all walks of life.

Among the important personalities that attended the funeral prayer of the deceased were Governors of Zamfara and Sokoto states Dr Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun, and Rt Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Deputy Governor of Zamfara state Barrister Mahadi Aliyu Muhammad Gusau, Speaker Zamfara state House of Assembly Nasiru Muazu Magarya, elder statesman General Aliyu Muhammad Gusau, and Former minister Ambassador Bashir Yuguda Gusau.


Others are Distinguished Senators and Members of the Federal House of Representatives, Deputy National Chairman of the people's Democratic party PDP, and officials from the Headquarters of the party, PDP Chairmen of Sokoto, Katsina, Kaduna and Kebbi states, Emirs, politicians, Service Chiefs, Captains of industries, Islamic scholars and Senior Government officials, as well as eminent personalities from within and outside the state.


It could be recalled that late Zamfara State PDP chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha died last Sunday at a German Hospital following a protracted illness.

Aged 59, Late Ibrahim Mallaha Gusau is Survived by 4 wives, 19 Children and a number of great children.


In a condolence message to the families of the deceased, Governor Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun described the death of Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha as a Monumental loss to the Zamfara state.


Governor Bello Matawalle who was looking  visibly  shocked, said, late Ibrahim Mallaha will be missed for his generosity, kindness and fear of God in his dealing.

 

"On behalf of myself, my family, the Government and people of Zamfara state, I hereby expressed my profound condolence to the immediate family, relatives, friends well-wishers and associates of late Alh Ibrahim mallaha Gusau" Governor Matawalle added.

He said the state has lost a political figure and father, who is not only a role model but and adviser who always act in the overall interest of the people of the state.


The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of late Alh Ibrahim mallaha with Jannatul Firdausi and grant his  family the fortitude to bear the loss 


Before his death, late Ibrahim Mallaha was an active politician who played politics with different state actors for the past 30 years. He served as the State Treasurer of the then ANPP, State Deputy chairman of the ANPP, State Chairman of ANPP,  and two time chairman of the people's Democratic party PDP in the state.


May his gentle soul rest in prefect peace, Ameen.
