Governor Makinde Commissions Township Roads In Jimeta

Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde of Oyo State has commissioned township roads in Jimeta covering 8.86km.

At the ceremony that held at Weekly Scope Newspaper, Governor Makinde commended Umaru Fintiri for the achievements so far recorded.


In his remarks, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said "the Jimeta side of our dear State capital; our collective pride, where approximately 15km of roads is constructed out of which  will be commissioned today and the balance of 5.6km.

"The cluster for today includes Weekly scope, Mustapha Ismail Extension, Dougirei lane, Mayo-Inne, Jalingo, CSC and Lekki Taba Roads all in the low density area of the metropolis.

"Distinguished citizens you would recall during the campaigns, I promised to change the face of the State capital and our major towns in a bid to uplift the living standard of our citizens and provide an enabling environment that would attract investors that will help unlock the economic potentials which abound in the State, he said.
The Secretary to the state government Malam Bashir Ahmad, Hon. Commissioner works and energy development Alhaji Adamu Atiku Abubakar among other speakers at the event lauded Governor Umaru Fintiri for his laudable achievements in Yola North.
