Bauchi Governor hails his counterpart of Adamawa over urban renewal project

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state on Thursday applauded Governor Ahmed Umar Fintiri of Adamawa state over execution of urban renewal project across his state for infrastructural development.


The Bauchi Governor was speaking while commissioning the seven point four kilometres of township roads in Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa state executed by the governor of the state.


Governor Bala Mohammed said the urban renewal project being currently implemented by Governor Ahmed Fintiri will go along way towards ensuring the overall development of the state. 



"I am highly delighted to be here on the invitation of my friend, I travelled from Bauchi to this far journey just because I believed in the administration of Governor Umar Fintiri."

According to the Bauchi Governor, Governor Fintiri is a reference point in the country's political system especially for his honesty and his sincerity.

"I am not suprise with the achievements of Governor Fintiri despite crisis in the global economy, I have seen the construction of bridge in Yola town and therefore with sense of accomplishment I will commission this project for the benefit of the affected communities."


On his part, Governor Umar Ahmed Fintiri of Adamawa state, said the construction of the 7.4 kilometres township roads in Michika Local Government Area is part of his administration's urban renewal project to address infrastructural gaps between urban and rural areas to enable citizens to enjoy basic infrastructure.


"I appreciate my colleague, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for honouring my invitation to be our guest as this commissioning of this project which will serve as tool for economic development."


Governor Umar Fintiri said three hundred and forty seven 347 roads have so far been constructed across the state by his administration and appreciated partners for their support in the execution of developmental projects.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims
