Governor Tambuwal Commissions Township Roads In Jimeta

His Excellency, the Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has today commissioned Jimeta township roads.

The roads include Bachure and Falu covering 5.60km.

Governor Waziri Tambuwal extoled Governor Umaru Fintiri for developing the state and revealed that the ongoing projects are completed the state will change for the better.

In his remarks, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri disclosed that gone are the days when amenities are provided in high class areas to the detriment of the low ones.


The Governor said that his administration has vowed to ensure that ‘No one is left behind and nothing is left untouched.”


While respectfully declining the decision of the community to name the road after him,Governor Fintiri announced the naming of the Bachure road as Air Commodore David Jonah Jang road and the weekly scope road as Alh Gambo Jimeta.

The Commissioner of Works and Energy Development, Alhaji Adamu Atiku Abubakar  said  Bachure road is not only significant to the community but Yola North in general.

There were goodwill messages from Hon. Hamidu Sajo Lekki chairman House Committee on health, as well as former Head of Service and Special Adviser to the Governor, Barrister Musa Kaibo.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
