Gov. AUF Receives Second Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccine

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri  has enjoined citizens to avail themselves for the Covid 19 vaccine which he described as safe 

The Governor stated this in an interview with newsmen shortly after receiving his second jab of Covid 19 vaccine at the specialist hospital in Yola 

The Governor while noting that the spate of the virus has drastically come down opined that it was due to the acceptance of the vaccine by the populace.

He described it as safe and the surest way to fight Covid 19 urging citizens to come out and be vaccinated 

Commissioner of health and human services Prof Abdullahi Isa and the Executive Chairman ADPHCDA Dr Bashir said the relevant bodies are adequately prepared to administer the second dose of the vaccine stating that people are already out and queuing to receive the second doze 

The duo said of the 37,500 people vaccinated across the 106 centers in the state there was no adverse reaction giving kudos to the populace for believing in the vaccine.
The state Chairman of the Muslim Council Mal Gambo Jika and State CAN Chairman Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza said there is no need to panic as experts have certified the vaccine as the best way to fight the virus.
