Barrister Tahir Shehu, 38 Others Emerged As New Adamawa State PDP Exco

The People's Democratic Party PDP has conducted its state congress in Adamawa at the Mahmud Ribadu Square, Yola on Saturday.

Barrister AT Shehu alongside 38 others were elected by the 2422 delegates from across 21 local government areas.

Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa state who is the chairman of the Congress committee declared the results and congratulated the newly elected PDP leaders.

In an interview, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri urged the new leaders of the party to work hard and build the party to greater heights.

The former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who doubles as the Waziri Adamawa assured Nigerians that PDP will provide purposeful leadership if bounce back into power in 2023.
The election which was supervised by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has ended Peacefully.
