EID EL MAULUD CELEBRATION: Ikpeazu Salutes Abia Muslims


Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has sent a message of goodwill to moslems in Abia State on the very auspicious occasion of the Eid El Maulud which marks the birth of the holy Prophet Mohammed.



Governor Ikpeazu charges the Muslims Community in the State to use the celebration of the Eid El Maulud to reflect deeply on the significance of the birth of the holy Prophet and the need to sustain the pursuit of peace and justice.

The Governor also tasks the Muslims to pray for the continued sustenance of peace and security in our country.


Governor Ikpeazu thanks the Moslem Community in the State for their support and cooperation, and tasks them to continue to respect the laws in force in the State, while assuring them that his administration shall continue to uphold the religious rights of every citizen and provide enabling environment for the sustenance of peace and harmony amongst all those living in the State.
