2021 PDP Convention: 3,600 Delegates to Vote Saturday

3,600 Delegates are expected to vote during the October 30th Peoples Democratic Party National Convention. 

Governor Fintiri of Adamawa State who is the Chairman of the Organising Committee disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja ahead of Saturdays  Convention. 

The Governor noted that the convention will adopt open secret balloting during the process. 

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri also announced that positions being contested for have been streamlined with only three still being negotiated.

Rt. Hon. Fintiri noted that the Appeals Committee has upheld the disqualification of those earlier declared ineligible. 

Governor Fintiri used the opportunity to commend the National Working Committee of the party for working assiduously to bring the party to where it is today.

Speaking on the incoming executive, Governor Fintiri notes that Dr Iyorchia Ayu the consensus Chairman has the capacity to turn around PDP and lead the party to victory in 2023, describing him as an intellectual and strategist. 



The convention is slated for Saturday October 30th at the Eagle Square Abuja.
