NIGERIA @61: Governor Bala Celebrates With Nigerians

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed celebrates the Nigeria's 61st Independence Anniversary with Nigerians calling on them to live peacefully with one another. 

The 61st anniversary according to Governor Bala should be used to reflect on the dedication, sacrifice and service of Nigeria's founding fathers. 

He added that his administration is determined to taking measures to strengthen the security of lives and properties of citizens of the state saying that the sector would continue to be top  priority.

Governor Bala however said his administration is not unmindful of the hardship being faced as a result of the downturn in the Nation's economy saying that the storm is temporary. 

He therefore assured that his administration will continue to provide palliative measures with a view to curbing the hardships through the Kaura Economic Empowerment Program (KEEP). 

Governor Bala called on Nigerians to rededicate, be patriotic and make sacrifices to ensure Nigeria is put on the path of greatness.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
