Gov. Fintiri visits Lamido Adamawa

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Monday visited Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa, in his palace at Yola.

The Governor speaking to journalists briefly after the closed-door meeting with the royal father said that he was there to intimate him about the general security of the state and developments, to maintain peaceful co-existence amidst farmer-herder clashes, kidnappings and other security threats in Adamawa.

He disclosed that their meeting centred on the general security and developments in the state as it affects the people generally across the state especially during the harvesting period.

Governor Fintiri reaffirmed that the administration will continue to maintain peace, especially through enhancing the connection between farmers and herders to promote socio-economic growth.

According to the Governor, Lamido Adamawa, in addition to counselling him in a variety of areas, must intervene when appropriate to assist the government in achieving peaceful co-existence across Adamawa.

The Governor was accompanied  by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bashir Ahmad, Chief of Staff Government House Yola, Professor Maxwell Gidado and other top government officials.
