Working Visit: Gov. Diri Receives National Assembly Ad-Hoc C'ttee on Tetfund
... lauds Tetfund performance in Bayelsa
His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, today received Tetfund ad-hoc committee members of the National Assembly led by its South-South Team Lead, Rt. Hon. Zakaria Dauda Nyampa.
While making his remark, Governor Diri lauded the performance of Tetfund in the State.
"Tetfund, I think that they have done somehow well, speaking from what I have seen in Bayelsa."
If you go to our State's premier university, the Niger Delta University, a lot of the projects there by way of construction of building, Tetfund has a lot."
"Recently, we also included our State's Medical University and University of Africa and even our College of Education and our Polytechnics. So, I believe some of these projects are even ongoing."
At the meeting were Hon. Fred Agbedi, Hon. Oforji Oboku, Alabo Gideon Ekeuwei, Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Peter Akpe, Acting Chief of Staff, Government House, Dr. Gentle Emelah, Commissioner for Education, Hon. Ayibaina Duba, Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Preye Broderick, Commissioner for Special Duties, Bayelsa East, Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo, Principal Executive Secretary, Government House, Mr. Adolphus Forcados, Special Adviser to the Governor on Secondary Education.
