...calls for more support, togetherness and loyalty to party

The Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Douye Diri, today met with stakeholders and PDP caucus of Brass and Ogbia Local Government Areas.

The Governor used the opportunity of the two separately held meetings to thank the stakeholders and the people of the two LGAs for their great support and solidarity with the party during the last general elections, where the party won all the National Assembly seats and the majority of the State Assembly seats.

The Governor also called on them to be more steadfast with the party in the coming Gubernatorial Elections, and ensure that the party emerges victorious against all odds.

"Today we invited you because we want to thank you for our success in the previous elections. We did very well in the National Assembly, and also the State Assembly, so I would like to on behalf of the Party and the government commend and appreciate you for the roles every one of you has played.

Politics is not a one-man game, it is a collective responsibility, that all of us, no matter how high or low must play, so that at the end of the day when we are victorious, we will all celebrate together", the Governor said.
