Every Child In Bauchi Will Have Access To Education, Says Governor Mohammed

The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, Kauran Bauchi, stated that his administration is very concerned about the situation of education and is constantly proactive in taking measures to correct flaws in the field.

The Governor launched the 2023 "Back to School" campaign and inaugurated the Bauchi State Education Steering Committee, made up of His Royal Highness (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman, the Emir of Bauchi, as the Chairman of the committee, and other stakeholders from the education sector and other relevant agencies.

Governor Bala Mohammed stated that education is one of the factors that most influences the progress and progress of people and societies. In addition to providing knowledge it also enriches culture, spirit, values and everything that characterizes us as human beings.

Governor Bala Mohammed approved the immediate promotion of the teachers and implementation of renovations of the classrooms across the various Local Governments of the state as part of his role to improve the welfare conditions of the teachers and the school fees of students across the state.

Governor Bala appreciated the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), USAID, the World Bank, UNESCO, the European Union, and other agencies for their remarkable support and numerous roles in ensuring the growth and development of education in Bauchi State.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
