We'll Ensure Adequate Remittance To Federation Account - Gov. Bala Mohammed Tells RMAFC

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has commended the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission for ensuring justice and equity in the distribution and generation of revenue resources as well as looking at the gap and inadequacies of some states and local authorities. 

Mohammed made the commendation when he received the officials of the RMAFC on a courtesy visit today, with a vow to intensify efforts doing his best to come up with cash flow as part of his administration's readiness to finding ways and means to salvage the state. 

He said it was a privilege to receive the RMAFC on the statutory duty to deliver and make Nigeria better in terms of developing structures across the federation. 

Governor Bala said the commission has developed an antecedent that is unmatched in terms of good governance, saying his administration is set to embark on massive construction of health facilities and schools as part of his campaign promises to reshape, modernize and renew Bauchi State with the support from development partners. 

Earlier speaking,  Hon. Kabiru Muhammed Usman said the visit was to discuss the great economic importance not only to Bauchi State but the federation, adding that the revenue allocation, mobilization and fiscal allocation is empowered by S(6) (b), (iii) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to monitor disbursement of revenue from the federation account. 

While commending Governor Mohammed for his massive projects in Bauchi, Hon. Kabiru emphasized the importance of collaboration between the State Government and the Commission for the growth development of Nigeria.
