Oborevwori showing signs of pragmatic leadership in Delta - Latimore

Renowned communication strategist, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said that Delta State Governor, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, is showing positive signs of a pragmatic leader who is determined to deliver on his electioneering campaigns promises.

He  made the assertion while speaking to newsmen on Wednesday immediately after the inaugural meeting of the Association of Media and Communication Strategists, AMCS, in Abuja, noting that the new administration in Delta State, has emphasized on delivery of quality and durable infrastructure projects.

Oghenesivbe, who was the Spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 general elections in Delta State, said the recent involvement of construction giant, Julius Berger, in  flyover projects in some parts of Delta South and Delta Central Senatorial Districts of Warri and Uvwie, point to show that Governor Oborevwori will surely advance Delta State, through socioeconomic and infrastructure projects that would improve the living conditions of the people and also bring about meaningful development.

On AMCS formation, Oghenesivbe posited that the association shall be the national umbrella for media managers and communication impresarios in Nigeria, protect the interests of members, formulate and enforce high standard professional conducts and work ethics.

He disclosed that the next meeting scheduled to hold in November at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, shall be elaborate with members from the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, adding that the national secretariat of AMCS shall be domiciled in Abuja.

"Delta State is moving forward. The new administration under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, is showing positive signs of good governance in the areas of social welfare, socioeconomic remodelling and solid projects.'

"The Governor awarded contract for the construction of three flyovers and road expansions to construction giant, Julius Berger. This is commendable and a clear indication that his M.O.R.E mantra is already yielding positive results."

"As for the Association of Media and Communication Strategists, AMCS, we are determined to make a bold statement in the industry, and membership is based on visible and tangible track records, sound academic background, reasonable wealth of experience and creative writing skills."

"At the moment, we are keeping plans very close to our chest, but the next meeting scheduled to hold at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, in November, is expected to be elaborate with members from the six geopolitical zones."

"State chapters will emerge in the near future, and the national secretariat shall be domiciled here in Abjua." Oghenesivbe assured.
