Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed Met With His Primary School Teacher After 54 Years

His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, Kauran Bauchi, has today received the audience of his former primary school teacher, Mallam Shaibu Wakili Durr after 54 years, at the Government House in Bauchi. 

Mallam Shaibu Wakili expressed his satisfaction and happiness for the privilege and honor granted to him. He congratulated the Governor and said he was very happy and he felt satisfied. He applauded the Governor of his numerous developmental projects and gestures across the state. He encouraged him to continue to do more for the growth and transformation of the state. 

Governor Bala expressed his optimism and happiness for such an incredible visit alongside other dignitaries. He said he is highly honored to host his former teacher who always encouraged them back then which gives birth to what he is today along his other fellows. 

Mallam Shaibu Wakili was led by Mrs. Brisca Jarome.

Gov. Diri Assures On South South Campus Of NJI

 Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has said his administration will do its best to ensure the South South campus of the National Judicial Institute (NJI) is sited in the state. Governor Diri gave the assurance on Wednesday when the House of Representatives Committee on Judiciary led by Hon. Oluwole Oke paid a courtesy visit to Government House, Yenagoa. He said siting the NJI in Bayelsa will complement the campus of the Nigeria Law School in Yenagoa.  He promised members of the committee of his government’s support to achieve the reforms required of the justice system in the country, particularly as they carry out their oversight function in the state.  Diri called on his former colleagues to bring their wealth of experience to bear in addressing the challenges bedeviling the judiciary and tasked them to proffer solutions at the end of their tour.
