Gov Fintiri Receives National NAWOJ President

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri accorded an audience to the National Leadership of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) led by the President, Comrade Ladi Bala, in the Government House, Yola.

The governor disclosed that 82% of Adamawa State students who wrote the 2020 Examination organized by NECO recorded Five Credits and above.


He said revamping the education sector will continue to receive his administration's priority aim of empowering children of destitute and orphans will equally receive quality education in the state.



He congratulated Comrade Ladi Bala for her election as National President, and urged her to remain focused, diligent and a worthy ambassador of the state.


In her remarks, the National President, Comrade Ladi Bala, thanked Governor Fintiri and the good people of Adamawa State for the support given to her during the electioneering campaign.




The National President NAWOJ was accompanied by the State Leadership of the NUJ led by State Chairman, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan.
