Masari Commiserates With SOSG, Victims Over Mart Fire

Governor Aminu  Bello Masari of Katsina State on Wednesday commiserated with the people and government of Sokoto State over the recent inferno at the Sokoto Central Market.

Governor Masari, who was in company of Katsina millionaire, philanthropist and owner of MaxAir, Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal and other officials of his state, said they were in the state to commiserate with the government and people of Sokoto State, particularly the traders who lost their means of livelihood in the unfortunate incident.

Led to the scene of the incident by Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Masari said words are not enough to express how himself and people of his state feel, considering the consanguinal relationship between the two states.


The governor added that the people of his state, therefore, sympathize with the fire disaster victims, the people of the state and the government.


He said as an individual he had the opportunity  to visit the  market several times between 1997/98, praying to Almighty Allah to compensate in multiple ways those who lost their means of livelihood.


He said his administration and the people of his state share in the agony of Sokoto State Government and the victims.
