Governor Douye Diri meets with appointees

Bayelsa State Governor, Sen. Douye Diri, Thursday, had an interactive meeting with his appointees at the D.S.P Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall, Yenagoa.

At the maiden meeting with about one thousand appointees, they expressed joy for being part of the official meeting.

Gov. Diri, used the opportunity to charge the appointees to make judicious use of their current positions.

"I urge you all to be torch bearers of this administration, to give love in place of hate within the PDP and outside, within or outside Bayelsa State."

"Do not be quick to anger, be patient, and above all, exude love. With these appointments, you are not masters, but servants in your various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies."

"Try your best to leave legacies behind for posterity sake, because collectively, we owe our services to our people", he said.
