Governor Fintiri Commiserates With Adamawa Emirate Council over the death of Muhammad Umar
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has commiserated with the Lamido Adamawa Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa on the demise of Alhaji Muhammad Umar.
The deceased held the traditional title of Lamdo Katsina from 1977 to 2006 in the Adamawa Emirate Council. He died on Thursday January, 7th 2021 in Yola.
Governor Fintiri said "I received with shock the news of the passage of the former Deputy Speaker who served in that capacity in 1983 during the defunct Gongola State".
The Governor described him as a patriot and selfless politician and Businessman with a passion for the growth and development of Adamawa State.
Governor Fintiri noted that late Muhammad made a mark as a successful Businessman and politician, saying his death is a great loss not only to the Adamawa Emirate Council, but the entire State.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri commiserating with the immediate family of the deceased said though painful urged them to bear the irreparable loss for the vacuum created with the death of their breadwinner.
The Governor also urged Lamido Fombina and the Adamawa Emirate Council to take heart over the great loss.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri prayed Allah to forgive his imperfections and grant him Jannatul- Firdausi.
Meanwhile, the Adamawa State Government has reiterated that all COVID-19 protocols are in force according to the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 directives.
That gatherings of any type above 50 have been hereby banned and prohibited. That the police and all law enforcement agencies have been mandated to enforce these directives in accordance with all the laws that have been enacted to fight COVID-19 in the whole country.
