Economy: Taraba government to partner South African Equity Firm

The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, welcomed Crystal Partners, a South African private equity firm, during a visit to the Government House in Jalingo.

During the meeting, held at the Exco Chamber, Dr. Kefas expressed his intention to collaborate with Crystal Partners to boost the State's socio-economic development. The firm is interested in investing in sectors like agriculture, mining, tourism, and energy.

The Crystal Partners team had spent two weeks touring various sites in Taraba State. They visited the Government House to brief the Governor on their findings and discuss potential partnerships.

Dr. Kefas reiterated his commitment to making a significant impact in the state and highlighted his recent visit to South Africa, where he secured brick molding machines and arranged for the training of local operators.

The leader of the Crystal Partners team, Neverl Kambasha, informed the Governor that they plan to bring in experts from South Africa to invest in agriculture and mining. He emphasized the need to build infrastructure to access the state's rich resources and stimulate economic growth.

Other team members also presented their reports and plans for the state.
