Plateau State Governor Celebrates Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at 83

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has congratulated former Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (Rtd), on the joyous occasion of his 83rd birthday.

In a congratulatory message, Governor Mutfwang described the former Head of State as a revered statesman and a national icon whose contributions have profoundly shaped the trajectory of Nigeria. He acknowledged Gen. Babangida's far-reaching influence on the nation through various transformative interventions.

Governor Mutfwang highlighted the General’s exemplary leadership and strategic vision, noting that his tenure as Military Head of State left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s history through landmark economic reforms, political restructuring, social advancements, infrastructural development, and impactful foreign policy initiatives.

The Governor lauded Gen. Babangida’s unwavering dedication to Nigeria's unity, a commitment exemplified by his distinguished military service and enduring political engagement.
