Gov Fintiri in Shuwa for On-the-Spot Assessment of the Flood-Ravaged Communities

His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, upon his return from Jalingo, Taraba State for PDP Governors' Forum meeting and subsequently attended wedding of the daughter of His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, he dashed out to Shuwa in Madagali LGA for on the spot assessment and to commiserate with over ten thousand victims affected by the flood in the area. His visit was to see for himself what government can do to rehabilitate the ravaged sites washed by the flood. 

The Governor along with him on the visit was the company director and engineers of Triacta Engineering Company. 

After he visited the flooded sites, His Excellency also met victims at Kirchinga and Shuwa where the victims are taking shelter. 

Earlier, His Excellency directed his Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, to visit Shuwa together with DG ADSEMA and Commissioners of relevant ministries where they carry along emergency relief materials like mats, blankets, food items and drugs. The Deputy Governor on behalf of His Excellency urged people in the area to leave the flood prone areas to avoid such devastating effects. That about eight communities where badly affected by the heavy flood since the return of this season. 

In Shuwa the Governor pledged a kind support as emergency relief to the affected persons and that very soon Triacta Engineering Company will begin work on the ravaged sites as measures to protect further occurrence.

Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit.
