Gov. Dauda Lawal Emphasizes Need for Continuous Training of Government Staff

Zamfara State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal, has underscored the critical importance of ongoing training for state officers and staff to enhance their skills in etiquette, modern service delivery, and international best practices. The governor highlighted this during the certificate presentation and closing ceremony of a 5-day intensive training programme on Protocol Etiquette and Best Practices, held at the Zamfara State Executive Council Chambers on August 16th, 2024.

The training programme, which ran from August 12th to 16th, was organized by A & B Executive Protocol Consultants Limited in partnership with the Zamfara State Government. Governor Lawal praised the efforts of the instructors, led by Ambassador Ibrahim M. Bashir, for delivering comprehensive lectures that have already begun to positively impact the participants.

In his remarks, the governor specifically noted the significance of a lecture by Ambassador Bashir on attitudinal behavior and its impact on the administration of government affairs. He encouraged all participants, including senior officials such as the Secretary to the State Government, Head of Service, Chief of Staff, Commissioners, and Special Advisers, as well as security personnel, media staff, and government housekeepers, stewards, and drivers, to apply the knowledge gained from the training to advance the state.
The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Governor Alhaji Mani Mallam Mumuni (Mutawallen Bukkuyum).
