Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has said that nothing can surpass the eternal gains of living quality and exemplary life because it leaves enduring but positive impact on society. Adamawa, FG Signs MoU For Conversion Of 2- Hospitals To FMCs

The Federal and Adamawa state governments have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the conversion of Cottage Hospital Hong and General Hospital Mubi to Federal Medical Centers. Signing the agreement on behalf of the state, Friday in Yola, Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta said state government is mindful of federal government policies, especially the ones that benefit the people of the state. Farauta noted that the state government couldn’t say no when the two health institutions were asked to be handed over to the federal government, due to its numerous benefits to the people of the state. She appealed to the federal government to consider carrying along people from the state for employment into the services of the two FMCs. ‘When finally, these institutions take off, we want asked that our people are the ones to be used in populating the FMCs because they cited in Adamawa”. Fintiri Doubles Corp Members' Allowance to Boost Service in Adamawa

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has announced his administration's  readiness to increase the  monthly allowance of corp members in the state from Ten Thousand to Twenty Thousand Naira. Governor Fintiri stated this when he addressed the  2024 Batch C, Stream One corp members during the occasion for the opening ceremony of the orientation course, which took place at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Damare. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said he has no doubt that the corp members will replicate the same gesture by being deligent, discipline, hardworking and committed at their various places of primary assignments for the betterment of their host communities. We’ll Partner Quantity Surveyors in Projects’ Delivery - Gov Fubara

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has assured that his government will continue to partner quantity surveyors in the execution of infrastructure projects in the State. Governor Fubara gave the assurance when he received in audience the national executive of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), led by its President, Kene Nzekwe, at Government House, Port Harcourt on Thursday evening. The visit comes on the sidelines of the institute’s Annual General Meeting, tagged: “Garden City 2024”, and national conference with the theme, “Strengthening the Quantity Surveying Practices and Processes for Growth and Sustainability in a Turbulent Economy”. Gov Fubara Arrives Uyo for Funeral of A'Ibom Gov's Wife

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, accompanied by his wife, Lady Valerie Siminalayi Fubara, arrived Uyo International Airport on Friday for the burial ceremonies of late wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno.  They were received on arrival by the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator (Dr) Akon Eyakenyi. The Ijaw Community in Akwa Ibom State was also on ground to welcome the Governor and his wife to the State for the solemn event.
