Adamawa Gov, Ahmadu Fintiri Commissions The Remodeled Taraba House of Assembly Complex

On Wednesday, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State commissioned the remodeled Taraba House of Assembly complex. The ceremony took place at the Complex of the House of Assembly, Jalingo.

Governor Fintiri commended his Taraban counterpart, Governor Agbu Kefas' giant developmental strides while speaking at the event.

He described the edifice as a beautiful working environment that would enhance productivity in legislation.

Fintiri, commended the symbiotic relationship between Taraba and Adamawa state which is geared towards upholding the culture of development in all facet of society.

The Governor urged the people of Taraba state to support Governor Agbu Kefas' moving forward mantra so as to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

On his part, the Speaker of the Taraba state House of Assembly, RT. Hon. John Kizito Bonanza, commended Governor Kefas for his sensitivity to the welfare of the legislative arm of government.

According to him, the complex which was constructed in 1994 has lost its beauty and therefore needs to be remodelled to standard for effective service delivery.

The Speaker also commended the governor for paying seven years of outstanding arrears to the assembly's support staff.

He commended the governor for extending benevolence towards the renovation of the Taraba State House of Assembly Service Commission.
