Gov Agbu Kefas Meets With Investors & Experts From USA & Italy in Jalingo

Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has reiterated his decision to transform Taraba State using the state's available natural resources to propel growth and development. 

The Governor stated this when he received investors and experts from the United States of America and Italy at the TY Danjuma House, Jalingo, on the 3rd of November, 2024.

Governor Agbu Kefas said the delegation, who are experts in the fields of agriculture, mining, and energy, would leverage their expertise to transform the state's natural resources, benefiting Taraba State and the global community.

He emphasized that as the Governor, his responsibility to the people of Taraba is service, and as he serves, he would ensure he actualizes his transformative vision for Taraba State.

Governor Kefas assured the experts of the State Government's corporation, guaranteeing their safety and well-being during their stay.

Shortly after a closed-door meeting, some of the investors, who briefed journalists on the purpose of their visit, said they were in the state to support the programmes and policies of Governor Kefas.

They added that their investment in agriculture, tourism, energy, and health will open up the State to global opportunities.

During the visit, Bishop Adejube presented an honourary citizenship award of the State of Georgia in the US which is the highest award in Georgia, to the Governor.

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara stated this during the 34th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt on Saturday 24th February, 2024. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong.
