Governor Fintiri of Adamawa State Commissions Remodelled Taraba State House of Assembly Complex
The Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has officially commissioned the newly reconstructed and remodelled Taraba State House of Assembly Complex, an impressive initiative by Gov Agbu Kefas.
The commissioning ceremony took place on Wednesday, 27th November 2024, in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State.
During the event, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri commended Gov Agbu Kefas for achieving this significant milestone. He asserted that the remodelled complex would provide legislators with a modern and conducive environment to effectively fulfil their duties.
Fintiri praised Gov Agbu Kefas for establishing a culture of development in Taraba State, pointing out that the remodelling follows his earlier successful upgrades of the Government House and other critical projects. He emphasized that these actions are a testament to the Governor’s commitment to translating democracy into tangible services for the people.
The Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt Hon John Kizito Bonzena, expressed gratitude to Gov Agbu Kefas for the successful completion of this transformative project. He highlighted that since its construction in 1994, the complex had never undergone such a significant upgrade until now, making it the best amongst its counterparts.
Bonzena further acknowledged the Governor's focus on enhancing the capabilities of legislators through ongoing training initiatives.
The event featured impressive performances by the state cultural troupe and other artists, adding a vibrant touch to the occasion.
