Gov Fintiri Consoles Suleiman Yahaya Over Death of Wife

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has commiserated with the former chairman of Mubi North Local Government Area, Suleiman Yahaya Sudi, over the demise of his wife, Hajiya Surayya Yushau.

Aged 33, Hajiya Yushau passed away peacefully on Friday last week after a courageous battle with a brief illness. 

She is survived by her husband, five children, and siblings.

Accompanied by top government officials to Mubi on Tuesday, Governor Fintiri extended his condolences to the husband and the bereaved family.

He described the deceased as a humble and compassionate mother who dedicated her life to serving society. 

The Governor prayed for God to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannah Firdaus.

Governor Fintiri urged the family to find courage and solace in bearing the loss, noting that the deceased lived a life of good deeds and service to humanity.

Prominent attendees at the condolence visit included the Amna Shellegn, Alhaji Abdullahi Isa Dasong II, and other notable stakeholders in the state.

Prayers were offered by various scholars for the repose of the deceased’s soul.
