Message of Felicitation as Gov Siminalayi Fubara Marks Golden Age

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) led by the Chairman, His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohamed CON and Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of his colleague-Governors, felicitates with His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State and Vice Chairman of this Forum, as he attains the golden age, today.

2. The Forum joins his family and friends in Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the abundant love and care in his life, protection and guidance in his public life which has enabled him render life-touching service to people in the State and the Nation at large.

3. The Forum is proud of his vision and ongoing activities to take the State beyond the ordinary in trade and investment drive, mass housing, industrialization, security provision, food security, worker's welfare, infrastructure upgrade, among others.

4. By firm leadership he has maintained law and order in the State, stabilized the political weather and engineered dedicated service delivery above partisan interests, while also ensuring empowerment programs for youth and women.

5. His commitment to quality education and prompt healthcare delivery has boosted the performances of the workforce immensely.

6. The Forum prays that the Almighty God grant him mental and emotional well-being and more courage to lead his people, as they at home and abroad, join him in this celebration.

7. The Forum assures him of its unalloyed support and brotherly cooperation always.

Governors in North Central/Middle Belt States Are Working to Raise the Bar of Good Governance, Says Governor Mutfwang

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has said that he and his fellow governors in the North Central and the Middle Belt regions of Nigeria are committed to raising the bar of good governance in their respective states for the benefit of their people and the nation at large. Gov. Diri Assures On South South Campus Of NJI

 Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has said his administration will do its best to ensure the South South campus of the National Judicial Institute (NJI) is sited in the state. Governor Diri gave the assurance on Wednesday when the House of Representatives Committee on Judiciary led by Hon. Oluwole Oke paid a courtesy visit to Government House, Yenagoa. He said siting the NJI in Bayelsa will complement the campus of the Nigeria Law School in Yenagoa.  He promised members of the committee of his government’s support to achieve the reforms required of the justice system in the country, particularly as they carry out their oversight function in the state.  Diri called on his former colleagues to bring their wealth of experience to bear in addressing the challenges bedeviling the judiciary and tasked them to proffer solutions at the end of their tour.
