Gov Fintiri Receives Lunguda Community, Reiterates Commitment To Peace, Development

 Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has reaffirmed his administration’s determination to ensure peace and tranquility in Guyuk and Adamawa State as a whole.

He made this known when he received the Lunguda community, led by Kwandi Nungurya Kurhaye Dishon Dansanda, in the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Yola.

The Governor assured the community of his continued support, citing their past political support.

He emphasized the importance of peace, stating that without it, there can be no meaningful development. Governor Fintiri called on the people to continue championing peace and development.

Kwandi Nungurya Kurhaye Dishon Dansanda commended the Governor for creating chiefdoms and emirates, which he believed would strengthen peace, unity, and development.

He appealed for equal representation of Lunguda people in the civil service and thanked the Governor for his support.

The National President of the Lunguda Development Association, Chief Ibrahim Wiliye, and other stakeholders, including Barrister Kasa D. Shalom, Executive Chairman of Guyuk Local Government Area, and Mr. Sunday Peter, Member representing the area in the state Assembly, also praised the Fintiri administration’s developmental strides in Lunguda chiefdom.

The event featured a cultural dance display.
