PDP Governors Arrive in Asaba for Crucial Meeting, Set for Gala Night
Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have started arriving in Asaba, Delta State capital, ahead of the PDP Governors' Forum meeting scheduled for tomorrow. The high-level gathering is expected to focus on pressing national issues, party affairs.
The Director General of the PDP Governors' Forum, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo, was on hand at the Asaba International Airport to receive the arriving governors. Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, is hosting the meeting and has welcomed some of his colleagues at the Government House.
Among the early arrivals are Governors Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Umaru Fintiri (Adamawa), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), and Agbu Kefas (Taraba), with more governors expected to arrive later in the evening.
As part of the reception, Governor Oborevwori will host a gala night at the Government House featuring cultural performances that celebrate the rich heritage of Delta State.
The event will also provide an informal setting for strategic discussions ahead of tomorrow’s main session.
With Asaba already buzzing with political activity, expectations are high that the PDP Governors' Forum will outline key decisions that could shape the party’s direction in the coming months.
