ADAMAWA ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Wednesday flagged off the construction of Damare Road in Girei Local Government Area, from ATV to NYSC camp spanning 4.6 kilometres.

The Governor who disclosed that during his campaign tour he promised to fix the road, thanked God that the day has finally come.

The Governor urged the contractor to work within the timeframe of the contractual agreement while adhering to quality delivery and called on the people to support the successful execution of the project.

Earlier in his remark, the Commissioner of Works and Energy Development, Alhaji Adamu Atiku Abubakar, said the project will ameliorate the perennial flooding that residents of the area have been experiencing over the years.

In their separate responses, the Commissioner of Livestock and Aquaculture and the Former Speaker, Hon. Abdullahi, among others thanked the Governor for fulfilling his promise to the community and declared support to the Governor.
