Gov Ahmadu Fintiri Receives Booster Dose of Astrazeneca Vaccine

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Tuesday received his booster dose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.

While addressing newsmen after receiving the vaccine, the Governor urged the people of Adamawa to ensure that they take the vaccine to be protected from getting infected by the deadly virus.



Noting the significance of the booster dose, the Governor said it is pertinent to get the booster dose considering the new variants which have forced some countries to impose lockdown in major cities.

The primary healthcare personnel will carry out the mass vaccination with the target of 200, 000.00 people before the end of January 2022.

The Governor was accompanied by his Deputy, Chief Crowther Seth, Speaker Adamawa State Assembly - Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, Chief of Staff Government House - Professor Maxwell Gidado, Head of Service - Dr. Edgar Amos, among others.

The meeting, held at the Plateau State Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos was attended by the principal organs of the party: l NWC, PDP-GF, BOT, NASS Forum, Former Governors Forum, Former Ministers' Forum and other leaders of the party.
