Gov Ortom Salutes Lt. Gen. T.Y Danjuma At 84

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on behalf of his family, the Government and the good people of Benue State, heartily congratulates Lt. Gen. TY Danjuma, rtd on his 84th  birthday. 

The Governor notes with pride the  sterling leadership qualities of Gen. Danjuma as a soldier and statesman of very high repute and says he's  proud that the former Chief of Army Staff has continued to make his knowledge and wealth of experience in leadership available to the younger generation to tap from. 

The Governor prays for God’s sustained blessings upon Gen Danjuma and wishes him God’s grace, good health, wisdom and courage in the years ahead to enable him continue to serve the country.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
