Adamawa approves N5.2 Billion for the Mubi Bypass and ATV Junction

On Wednesday, the Adamawa State Executive Council approved the construction of a six-eight-kilometer Mubi bye pass road at a cost of three Billion naira during its eleventh meeting for twenty-one.

The council has also approved the construction of a four-and-a-half-kilometer road connecting Adamawa Television Corporation and the National Youth Service Corps NYSC Damare Permanent Camp for one Billion nairas.

After a council meeting in Government House Yola presided over by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Commissioner of Works and Energy Development, Alhaji Adamu Atiku Abubakar Revealed this to journalists.

Alhaji Abubakar Revealed that Mess Triacta Nigeria Limited was granted the two road contracts with a twelve-month completion period, but that the projects will be flagged off this year, starting next week Monday.

The council has also approved the installation of solar-powered lamps at the grade interchange and four neighbouring roads for 350 million naira, according to the Commissioner.


The initiatives approved, he said, are in keeping with the current administration's urban and rural program, which aims to beautify the state and revitalize Adamawa's socio-economic development.
