Seeking Partnership For Bayelsa's Development: Gov. Douye Diri Visits Netherlands, Malaysia Envoys

In furtherance of his avowed commitment to attract investors to Bayelsa State, Governor Douye Diri on Thursday visited the Ambassador of The Netherlands, His Excellency Harry van Dijk and his Malaysian counterpart, Her Excellency Gloria Tiwet in Abuja.


The governor during the courtesy visit, which focused on common interest, also sought the partnership and support of both countries in the area of agricultural, educational, technical, aquacultural and fisheries development in Bayelsa State.

Gov. Diri was accompanied by foremost diplomat, Ambassador Godknows Boladei Igali, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Chief David Alagoa and the Principal Secretary, Government House, Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo.
