Gov Ortom Felicitates With Governor Seyi Makinde at 54

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on behalf of the Government and people of the State, has sent warm felicitations to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on his 54th birthday. 

Governor Makinde turned 54 on December 25th, 2021.  

He says the contributions of Governor Makinde to nation-building are exemplary given his experience as a successful business man, to his current performance as the Governor of the ancient Oyo State.

The Governor says he is happy to see Governor Makinde deploy his experience in transforming Oyo  State using Agri-Business and Technology in rebuilding its capacity to provide for the basic needs of its people.

He says Makinde has inspired leadership through his achievements in agriculture, sports,  infrastructure and education as well as many infrastructural projects in the state. 

The Governor prays that God’s  blessings and wisdom continue to rest on Governor Makinde whom he described as an embodiment of humility and selflessness as he join forces with other PDP leaders in the country to rescue an ailing Nigeria  from the hands of undertakers whose leadership has left the country bleeding. 

He prays that as Governor Makinde  celebrates his birthday anniversary,  may the favour of God Almighty rest upon him, his family and the people of Oyo State now and always. Amen.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
