COVID-19: Governor Bala Receives Booster Dose

Bauchi State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has received the Covid-19 Booster dose at the Banquet Hall, Bauchi Government House. 

Speaking shortly after receiving the dose, Governor Bala called on citizens of Bauchi State to get vaccinated adding that the dosage is safe and effective.

He added that his administration will not relent in ensuring all measures against the spread of the virus are taken saying that the State Government has recorded degrees of successes in healthcare delivery. 

He applauded the Bauchi State Task Force on Covid-19 under the leadership of his Deputy, His Excellency, Senator Baba Tela for their commitments and sensitization campaigns on dangers associated with the virus. 

The State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed alongside top government officials were vaccinated during the exercise.

Delta awards N78bn contract for flyovers in Warri, Effurun

Delta State Government has approved the award of contracts worth N78 billion to Julius Berger Nigeria Limited for the construction of three flyover bridges and road expansion in the Warri/Effurun megalopolis. This was part of decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday in Asaba.  Briefing journalists at the end of the Exco meeting, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr Fred Edafiogho, said approval of the contracts were aimed at solving the gridlock often experienced in the twin cities.
